Sony Set to Release Digital SLR

Sony recently announced it will enter the lucrative Digital Single Lens Reflex business, joining its major digital camera competitors Nikon and Canon. Sony has acquired the Digital SLR holdings of former camera giant Konica-Minolta, which will be the base of Sony’s to launch an entry level DSLR. Word has it that the camera will be priced higher than competing entry-level DSLR’s. The camera is said to have built in image stabilization feature. The new Sony DSLR will use the Konica-Minolta Maxxum /Dynax mount system so you will be able to use those old lenses with the unit. Sony will also release 6 lenses for the unit.
